Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?We chose this because we believe it is a current issue that is affecting every body. Simple things like food and diesel are costing extortionate amounts. Some families are struggling to make ends meet. We want to help resolve this issue or at least help in any way we can.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
We learned that it's taking a toll on people and money they would spend else where is being used for everyday necessities.
Outline the specific problem you would like to solve for your Hero and two or three solutions you think would help.
Struggling to afford food and diesel/ petrol. Our solution is "the shed" we would Have a shed where, people can leave food, they don't need for people who are struggling with the prices of food nowadays. People can leave clothes and exchange them. We could leave a timetable of people going to common places so you could share lifts, saving money on diesel. A website where it will show you how to save money and you can log your progress. It will be regularly updated with deals and coupons that are available to the public.
