Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?

We chose this topic because we realised this is a huge problem around Ireland and it was brought to our attention how many families and businesses are struggling right now because of the increasing cost of living.

What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?

We didnt realise how many people are struggling because of it and how it is affecting families around Ireland.

WE would like our hero to return to education so that she can get a better paid job. One idea we have is to have a local government paid childminding facility to help her return to college and study.
