Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?We want to learn more about the impact of fast fashion on people all around the world and we also have a great contact in that one of our cousins works in the area of fashion charity with the UN.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
Some workers in factories which are supplying Ireland with clothes and items may be earning as little as 4 cent per item they make. They often do not get a basic salary. Many employees work 18 hours a day with 1 day of a month. A mistake in making an item can cost two thirds of a reduction in their wage. The conditions many people work in can be very dangerous.

Our heros living situation as she does not have enough money to buy basic necessities. Her human rights are affected because of the poor conditions she lives in. The unsafe place of work violates her human rights.
