Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?We find that climate change is something that affects us and people our age. it is always in the news and it is a relevant topic to our lives.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
it affects us in more way than we initially thought. eg; makes the weather warmer - reason for our heatwaves. We have learnt that our hero suffer the effects of climate change like us and that she is trying to combat them as well.
Outline the specific problem you would like to solve for your Hero and two or three solutions you think would help.
I would like to solve the flooding problem as it disrupts her farming. I believe that by digging a stream it would create another path for the water to go to, add in stones for drainage. Another solution would be by growing crops that need a lot of water such as beetroot to help absorb the water. We would improve the tools she has to combat climate change, eg; more solar panels in her garden, To help against Climate change we could encouraging everyone in our school to use less power, spreading info and posters on how to be more sustainable
