We chose mental health as our challenge because people struggle with bad mental health on a day-to-day basis and numbers of cases and suicides has increased more in the past few years, so we think it is about time for a solution or a method to cope with this growing problem. Nobody deserves to live in misery whether it is someone else's doing or something going on in that person's life.
2. With our research on mental health, we have not only learned about the different mental illnesses but also about how people come up with methods and strategies to ease the struggle of some of the pain. We also learned what effects the mental illness may have on a person and how it can drive them over the edge.
3. Our hero could face criticism and harassment in school and could even go home to face the same issue which could have a negative effect on their mental health and performance in school. They may be excluded and be made feel uncomfortable by people in their year. They may feel like they don't fit in anywhere and that can be hard to deal with on any person.
4. We would have people have more respect towards their peers because nobody knows what's going on in a person's life no matter how well you know you know them; they can still hide behind a smile. If everyone treated people with kindness it would take the pressure and fear of being judged off someone completely or at least ease it.
