Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?We choose Hidden Poverty, as a team we chose to focus on hidden poverty because we felt like this problem needed to be addressed the most.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
Just how hard it is for single mothers to live their day to day lives. we have learned just how strong and resilient they are having to get through day to day stuff on their own with not a lot of support.
Outline the specific problem you would like to solve for your Hero and two or three solutions you think would help.
Women in poverty The specific problem is that our hero (single mothers) have their day today a lot harder than others. Due to the fact the majority of them do not have any support and feel as though they have to go through life raising the child(ren) independently or alone. We feel as though making this issue more aware would make a drastic difference. We think that things such as tv ads, posters and campaigns and go fund me are 4 ways that would really help solve this.
