Why as a team did you choose to focus on this challenge?

As a team we chose this challenge and this solution because displaced people and human trafficking is a world wide issue that impacts the entire world over 60% of the displaced happen to be women as we are a group with all women we have all experienced this and wanted to come up with a solution to this problem that affects us all daily as well as every women we done the survey with.

What do you know now about the challenge that you didn't know before?

From our research we discovered over 60% of the displaced people are women and about 736 million women experience sexual and physical violence at least once in their life time. which is one out of three women that could’ve needed a product like thus as well as the women who have just been put in uncomfortable situations.

What have you learnt about your Hero?

our hero is alex as alex is autistic she doesn’t feel comfortable walking alone or without a family member and doesn’t have the physical ability to use a phone and this bracelet is really easy to use in all situations even if you don’t have a learning disability.

If you could improve one thing for your Hero what would that be?

i would like to improve my hero’s safety and feeling of comfort
