Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?We all have an interest in farming and young farmers aren't able to cope due to the pressure they are under from the cost of farming. Young farmers are not interested in farming which if they leave the agricultural industry we would be afraid of food shortages in the world.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
There are a lot more resources farmers can go talk to now but farmers are afraid to go to them places due to people looking at them in society as hardy people.
Outline the specific problem you would like to solve for your Hero and two or three solutions you think would help.
My hero last year the fertiliser price went through the roof but the income for the grain didn't increase. I think he should ask the government for some more aids/grants which would leave him in less of deficit for the rest of the year. He should join more groups apart of the agri sector and fight for better prices so they can stay afloat.

Do you have any experience of farming? Any advice re dealing with pressure from not being able to continue with a family business due to it becoming unviable?
