Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?The cost of living is a wide spread problem these days and we would like to help people by creating something that benefits everyone. Not only did we want to help people but we wanted to create something that would teach people to be smart with their money and understand the importance of saving.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
During our time researching and getting others opinions we found out that even those who are more fortunate would also appreciate the app idea we came up with. We also realized how important it is to teach the next generation to be smart with their money as we want them to have the best life possible and to make good financial decisions.
Outline the specific problem you would like to solve for your Hero and two or three solutions you think would help.
The specific problem we are targeting for our hero is the problem of saving money and unnecessary spending. Our first solution to this problem is to create a website on which we provide tips and tricks on how to save so you are not in financial difficulty. The problem with this idea is not everybody would use a website and be motivated to change their ways by a couple of words. Our second solution is an app that does it for them but we feel this would not teach people to be independent and they would rely on the app too much. Our final idea is one that combines both previous ideas as it teaches people how to save while also making it easier to do so.

1: Do you have any advice on how to develop this idea 2: Our app is to teach the average person to be smart with their money but we have an idea to add features for parental usage and teacher use as parents can pay their kids for chores and then teach about tax with rent etc. and teachers can pay students on classroom jobs but everyone gets the same amount of tax but the more work you do the more you are paid to teach kids to work hard. please give us feedback on our unique idea.
