Why as a team did you choose to focus on this challenge?

As a team, we decided to focus on this challenge because nowadays, some people are facing mental health problems. We wanted to see how people feel about it, to put ourselves on people’s shoes. Mental health is an important challenge since it affects the way we think, feel and act when we face life. It also helps determine how we manage stress, relate to others, and make decisions.

What do you know now about the challenge that you didn't know before?

From all of our research we found out that way more people suffer with mental health than we actually think and people tends to hide and not tell anyone. About half of all cases of mental illness begin by the age of 14, 75%of them develop before the age of 25. Some other facts about mental health are that mental illnesses are more common than cancer, diabetes or heart disease.

What have you learnt about your Hero?

Our hero is Marta Diaz and we learnt about her how to have a good mental health learning about the food and different exercise in gym

If you could improve one thing for your Hero what would that be?

Not being afraid on their self. To be more confident. For that, our hero should do what they are passionate about, feel supported by their family and friends and admit themselves as they are, as people. This problems can also be solved by doing sport and feeling good as a person, whether at work, with your family or friends.
