Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?

We chose to do this topic because suicide is a serious problem in Ireland and more people become a victim to suicide every year

What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?

That males are more exposed to suicide than females with the male suicide rate being 14.9 per 100,000 compared to the female suicide rate of 3.6 per 100,000

Outline the specific problem you would like to solve for your Hero and two or three solutions you think would help.

We would like to increase the amount of people that get help instead of killing themselves so we want to put helpline posters everywhere to encourage people to get the help they need. We would put the helplines on posters everywhere we could.
