We thought chose to focus on this challenge because mental health is a very important factor in a person's life, and it is something that isn't talked about as openly as is should, there are many people that would like to get help from someone but don't know how to go around doing so, we aim to tackle these challenges.
We didn't know just how prevalent bad mental health is in today's society, and how it can rapidly degradate if ignored and not taken into consideration for something to work on withing yourself. A lot of people struggle and a lot of people will keep struggle if they don't feel comfortable enough to seek help.
Our hero is anyone who has any problems with their mental health. They encounter obstacles in their mind that stop them from being happy or progressing forward in life with goals that get shot down due to poor mental health.
We would improve how comfortable our hero is talking to someone, and being ok with finding vulnerability in someone who they can express themselves to and seek advise and help from.
One of our solutions would be to improve your ability to connect with people you know will be there for you when you need it. Most people with bad mental health don't have someone to confide in, if this is changed, and our hero builds relationships with people they are comfortable with, discussing mental health and personal issues will be easy and comfortable.
