Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?In today's rapidly evolving space in technology, the integration of Artificial Intelligence systems into business operations has become a necessity. Our proposal aims to meet this demand by introducing a platform that enhances transparency, fairness, and inclusivity in AI development. By empowering individuals and businesses to leverage AI for positive social impact, we are able to bridge the gap between technological innovation and global citizenship.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
This project will adopt a highly collaborative approach, treating each solution component as a separate endeavour similar to the process of developing an app. We will engage in collaborative partnerships with industry experts, academic institutions, and AI practitioners to inform our research, user testing, and feedback cycles. This approach will ensure that the platform is effective and relevant to its users.

Problem Statement: In the fast-paced world of technology, the timely integration of AI solutions is crucial for staying competitive. However, the associated costs of AI deployment, including vendor expenses, risk management, team training, and regulatory compliance, often pose obstacles that favor those with financial resources. As a result, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises may integrate AI without a decent understanding of advanced concepts like Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning hindering progress in the field. There is also a pressing need to align AI innovation with global citizenship goals, ensuring its contributions address societal challenges effectively.
