Why did your team choose to focus on this challenge?The "University and Diversity" project aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for new foreign students at our school. This proposal outlines the development of a comprehensive Welcome Pack that focuses on fostering diversity, inclusion, and cultural understanding among the student community. Objectives: 1. Promote Inclusivity: Develop materials that encourage a sense of belonging and acceptance for students from diverse backgrounds. 2. Cultural Awareness: Provide resources to enhance cultural awareness, understanding, and appreciation among both foreign and local students. 3. Facilitate Integration: Offer practical information and support services to ease the transition of foreign students into the school community.
What have you learned about the challenge that you didn't know before?
The diversity and countries people coming to our country are from and the difficulties that caused them to migrate to Ireland, our research indicates the items that will make their transition better.
